Tim Kosinski, D.D.S. ’84 is an associate editor for the Academy of General Dentistry publications including, General Dentistry, and the AGD Impact. He recently drafted an editorial for the May/June 2017 issue of General Dentistry where he discusses the importance of giving-back in order to impact the future of dentistry and generations of oral health providers.
“The problem is that many dentists have little understanding of the connection between philanthropy and the educations we received. The fact is, no matter how much tuition we paid—and tuition has risen considerably in recent years—our education was supported in part by the generosity of people who came before us.”
